It is constructed of 6061 aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish, and provides numerous M-LOK accessory mounting slots along its length. Designed specifically for the Marlin 1895/1894/336 with a handguard cap. If the rifle uses a barrel band and lacks a handguard cap, it will require an adapter (MI-MAR336A) for handguard installation.
